Park Rules

THESE RULES ARE INCORPORATED INTO YOUR AGREEMENT AND BREACH OF ANY OF THESE RULES IS THEREFORE A BREACH OF THE AGREEMENT.

1. The Pitch

Pitches must be kept clean and tidy and free from litter/rubbish.

Waste must be disposed of promptly in the bins provided on site.

The erection or placing of any structure other than tents/touring caravans/motorhomes/trailer tents is prohibited (including the erection of washing lines).                  

2. Motor Vehicles

Only one private motor vehicle is permitted on each pitch unless 
authorised by Park Cliffe.  Goods vehicles and commercial vehicles are not permitted on pitches. 

Motor vehicles are only permitted where the following conditions are 
complied with :-

The motor vehicle is insured according to the law
The motor vehicle has a valid MOT certificate where its age requires one
The motor vehicle is in good working order and roadworthy

Motor vehicles may only be driven on the estate by holders of a valid driving licence.        

The speed limit on the estate is 10 miles per hour and must be strictly observed.        

Drivers must not cause a nuisance through excess revving, warming up periods or otherwise.
        

3. Animals

The keeping of any pet or animal of whatever nature is at the absolute and unfettered discretion of Park Cliffe whose consent must be requested before the pet is brought onto the site.  If circumstances justify it, the consent can be revoked at any time.  Where pets are allowed :-

They must be kept under proper control on a short lead (one metre maximum) so as not to be a nuisance to other occupiers or frighten them.

They must use the designated exercise area.

They must not foul the Park.

They must not be left unattended at any time.

(please note pets are not permitted in our rental holiday caravan)

4. Occupiers are reminded that they are responsible for the conduct of their guests and family.

5. Musical instruments, CD players, radios, televisions and other appliances must not be used in such a way as to cause nuisance to others.

6. No excessive noise is permitted at any time and in particular at night between 2300 hours and 0730 hours.

7. Smoking is not permitted in any of the public buildings.

8. Open fires and ground level barbeques are not permitted.  Barbeque stands must be used and are available from reception.  For your own safety barbeques must not be used in awnings or tents.

9. No firearms or offensive weapons of any kind are allowed on the estate.

10. Cutting or damaging trees and other vegetation is strictly prohibited and the natural condition of trees and vegetation is to be preserved.  The tying of ropes to trees is not permitted.

11. Children must be kept under proper control at all times.  Please ensure that your children behave in a responsible manner at all times particularly when they are cycling, roller skating, skate boarding, roller blading, using a scooter or playing ball games.  Under age drinking is not permitted on the estate.

12. Please ensure that you pitch at least 3 metres from your neighbour and where possible campers are requested to lift their ground sheets daily to help keep the grass in good condition. 

13. Guests should report all accidents to reception.

14. Day visitors must report to reception on arrival on site. 

15. Save for drugs taken in accordance with treatment prescribed and directed by a qualified medical practitioner drugs are not permitted on the estate.  Any person found in possession of such drugs and the rest of his or her party will be asked to leave the estate immediately and all monies paid will be forfeited.  The Police will be called.

16. Sport and games are not permitted in close proximity to other pitches.

17. Chemical toilet waste must be disposed of promptly at the disposal point on the estate.
