Halloween Half Term Week at Park Cliffe 2022

I’m excited… in just under 2 weeks,  it’s my favourite time of year. I can break out my zombie face paint and put on my ripped clothes costume and do my best Walking Dead impression!. And….that’s normal (!) because, hurrah, its Halloween!!

For sweet lovers, horror junkies, and anyone who  loves to dress up and have fun, the best holiday of the year is nearly here.

Who doesn’t enjoy Halloween? For little ones, it’s a chance see the world by night, … walk around the neighbourhood and (hopefully) get lots of treats.  Or play tricks!   Its great to see kids all dressed up in their Halloween outfits, with their pumpkins full of sweets, knocking on doors, all excited… and of course its so nice when the door opener acts petrified and horrified by the scary apparition that’s appeared on their door step.

Our best Halloween was a few years ago when the whole family made a huge effort to dress up…. Look at us, we could be the new Adams Family ….

Halloween Events at Park Cliffe

Here at Park Cliffe this year we’re going all out for a Halloween to remember.  Read on to find out how you can get involved.

Kids! If you’re arriving here from Friday 21 October, we’ve put together a free of charge Halloween Activity Packs to really get you in the Halloween mood….. be sure to collect yours from reception.

And while you’re there pick up an entry sheet for our Scary Halloween Hunt…. follow the clues around the park to solve the hunt…

The free of charge Halloween hunt will be available from Friday 21 –  Sunday 30th October.

If you’re creative you can enter our colouring competition (psst… there are prizes to be won).  Ask at reception and we’ll give you the colouring sheets.  Give your completed sheets back to us at reception by 10am Saturday 29 October to be in with a chance of winning.

Now… for arty, crafty people of all ages there are more opportunities to win prizes and join in the Halloween fun.

First, we’d like to see your creative, scary, spooky side…… express yourself by decorating your caravan or pod or static caravan.  Lets make Park Cliffe look amazing!  Even more amazing than usual……  Judging will be carried out on the morning of Saturday 29 October and winners announced at our Halloween Party.

Secondly, we want you to carve your best pumpkins ever…  click here for some pumpkin carving hints and tips,  To enter the competition bring your pumpkins to the bar by 11am on Saturday 29 October.  We’ll judge them at our Halloween Party.

Oh yes… did I mention?  We’re having a HALLOWEEN PARTY!  How great is that?  Remember to dig out your face paints and Halloween costumes …. Channel your inner witch or wizard or zombie! We’ll be looking for the best dressed Halloween adult and child.

Starting at 3pm on Saturday 29 October with a children’s entertainer, then we’ll light all the pumpkins and give prizes to the best carvers!

More prizes to follow for the children colouring competition, best Halloween costumes  and best dressed caravans.

Following our prize giving we’ll have a couple of party games and songs.

Finishing with our Halloween Quiz which will start at 7pm.

If you’re feeling hungry our pop up street crew will be barbecuing on the terrace… and of course you can get drinks from the bar.
