We're thrilled to have been named as finalists at the prestigious In-Cumbria Business Awards!
Park Cliffe has been named as finalists in not just one, but two categories at the In-Cumbria Business Awards 2023!
The winners of the In-Cumbria Magazine Business Awards will be announced on the 23rd of November at a glittering awards ceremony in Carlisle, and we will be attending.
We are delighted and stunned to learn that our park had secured two places in the final line-up of the awards. Considering the many hundreds of business in Cumbria that are eligible to take part in the competition, this feels like an incredible achievement which we makes us all proud and humbled.
We couldn’t have been shortlisted as Finalists for those amazing awards without our amazing staff. Our team works hard to ensure absolute customer satisfaction, as well as ensuring our guests return multiple times.
Set in 25 acres of countryside above the shores of Windermere, we provide holiday homes to rent and own, glamping facilities, and pitches for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes.
Earlier this spring, we welcomed local MP Tim Farron to perform the official switch-on of a major new green energy project at the park.
Representing a £200,000 investment, it features over 200 high-efficiency solar panels which will save 21 tonnes of carbon from entering the atmosphere each year.
The switch-on ceremony was attended by regional tourism chiefs and other VIP guests. We are proud to have taken another big step on our journey to carbon neutrality.
If we clinch the Green Business title in the In-Cumbria awards, it will be a much-prized addition to other awards we won for our environmental responsibility.
Our park also holds previous accolades in the family business category of the competition, including a top honour in the North West Family Business Awards 2023.
We were named by judges as the overall victor in the leisure and tourism small business of the year category, beating scores of other regional enterprises to the title, which made us all very proud.
The In-Cumbria awards are organised by the magazine’s owners Newsquest, and previous hosts of the awards ceremony have included presenter Amol Rajan and radio DJ Jeremy Vine.
