At the deepest point, Rydal Water is only fifteen meters deep – however a lot of spots in the waters are very shallow, so mind your knees. Rydal Water is the shallowest lake in Cumbria, which means it is also the first lake in the area to warm up in the summer months. We think it’s the perfect spot to go swimming in Cumbria.
