Absolutely! You are more than welcome to use your own kayak or canoe on Coniston Water. Please ensure it is in good working order and that you wear appropriate clothing and a buoyancy aid when out on the water.
Kayakers are encouraged to bring a hand-held radio or other means of contacting help in case of emergency.
You should also ensure all equipment has been washed thoroughly in between trips to ensure no bacteria is transmitted, which could upset the stable eco-system on the lake.
