Yes, kayaking and canoeing are both allowed at Crummock Water, however you must have a permit.
Unfortunately this isn’t included in the British Canoeing Membership, so you’ll have to obtain a season or day ticket.
Season tickets can be purchased by calling 01768 774649.
Day tickets are available from the car park at Buttermere – CA13 9UZ (approx. 1hr 20 mins away from Park Cliffe).
