Yes, you can walk around Wastwater. The circular walk is a popular, but challenging route. The section that includes The Screes is particularly difficult, with loose sections of rock and boulders forcing you to climb parts. Your efforts will be rewarded by some fantastic views on this walk, however we must stress that it should only be undertaken by people that are physically fit, sure-footed and have experience hiking.
