Buying a Caravan or Lodge
The annual pitch fee for holiday homes and lodges is due 1st December each year. It is £4620 for the 2024/25 season for caravans and £5243for lodges for the 2024/25 season. Pitch Fee review due 1 December 2025. This covers security on the Park, park maintenance, refuse collection, water, sewerage, use of the Park’s great facilities. Rates are invoiced 1st July each year and were £455.48 for the 2024 season (but discounted by 75% due to government support).
Electricity is metered and customers pay for only the amount that they use. Current rate is 0.28p plus vat per unit (until 30/9/2025). Gas is also metered annually on some lodges where there is a bulk gas supply.
Holiday caravans (and some lodges) are provided with 2 x 47kg gas cylinders. They are fitted with an automatic change-over valve, so when one runs out, it changes to the second cylinder, and an indicator shows that you need to order another cylinder. The gas cylinders are ordered from the park office and are paid for (currently £102.00 per bottle) at the point of ordering. One of our team will deliver and fit the gas cylinder for you.
