The Park family farm with nature and connect consumers with farmers, growers and artisan producers. Low Sizergh Barn farm shop, the café and farm trail are set in the organic farm site. Every corner of the atmospheric farm shop is filled with food and drink, much of it from local producers.
Upstairs is a popular café overlooking the milking parlour with clothes, cards and children’s toys displayed on the way up. Downstairs is the Shippon – for books, rugs, baskets, pottery and other crafts. Look out for their award-winning cheese counter with 60-70 varieties, including Kendal Creamy, made with milk from the farm’s herd of 170 cows. The milk also goes into the ice cream they sell while raw milk straight from the cows is available from a vending machine outside. The farm trail is a lovely, free walk through fields and woodland with an optional flower spotting sheet.
