Autumn 2020 – Major Roadworks M6 J36

From September – December 2020 there are major road works on the A590, A591 and M6 at Junction 36 which is the access into the South Lakes.  There are diversions in place, but you should expect delays.

To avoid the roadworks customers arriving from the south can exit the M6 one junction earlier at J35 Carnforth, then follow the A6 north.  At Levens take the A590 for Barrow.  At the Newby Bridge roundabout take the A592 Bowness, the Birks Road turning for Park Cliffe is approx 3.5 miles on the right.
