Park Cliffe celebrates double success with two prestigious tourism awards
We’re delighted to share some fantastic news! Park Cliffe Windermere Camping and Caravan Park has received two prestigious tourism awards, rounding off a wonderful summer season here in the Lake District.
We’ve been recognised as one of the UK’s best-loved holiday destinations by Campsites.co.uk and have also received the AA Gold Award for 2026/27, recognising the quality of our facilities and the experience we provide to our guests.
These achievements are a wonderful reflection of the hard work and dedication of our entire team and we’d like to thank everyone who has stayed with us and supported the park.
Our first award came from Campsites.co.uk, which named Park Cliffe on its annual Outstanding Sites list.
The recognition places us among the top 150 campsites and holiday parks in the UK, highlighting the quality of the holiday experience we offer here in Windermere.
We’re particularly pleased to receive this recognition as guest feedback plays an important role in celebrating the parks that holidaymakers love.
We were equally thrilled to receive the prestigious AA Gold Award for 2026/27.
To achieve this accolade, Park Cliffe underwent a rigorous inspection covering almost every aspect of our facilities and services.
We’re proud to have achieved an overall excellence score of more than 90%, placing us among the AA’s highest-rated caravan and camping parks.
From the quality of our facilities to the warm welcome guests receive, this award recognises the attention to detail that goes into making every stay special.
Following a fantastically busy summer, our Park Manager, Julie Ward, was delighted to share the news and recognise the contribution of the entire team.
