Shepherd’s Hut

Enjoy a long weekend at our cosy Shepherd’s Hut, set in a prime position on the park. Wake up to beautiful views and spend a leisurely morning sat on the veranda, eating breakfast while listening to the birdsong.

Our luxury shepherds hut was lovingly built by a team of talented local craftsman. It’s a bespoke design and boasts a luxury interior that will make you feel at home. It has a number of quirky features and plenty of rustic charm. The plush soft furnishings will keep you cosy and warm, if you decide to visit in the autumn or winter.

It only sleeps 2 people, so it’s the perfect hideaway for a couple’s break.

Camping Pods

We have a selection of camping pods to choose from, with plenty of options to suit your needs. Couple’s pods sleep 2 adults and are also dog friendly, so you can bring your four-legged friend for a holiday in The Lakes. Our Premier camping pods have wonderful views of Windermere and are well-equipped with a double bed, set of bunks and heater to keep you warm on chilly nights.

For something a bit special, choose our Deluxe camping pod. This unique Lake District accommodation is ideal for families and fitted with a kitchenette, spacious seating area and private bathroom with your own WC and shower. There are two stargazing windows, from which you can observe the night sky. We have little light pollution in The Lakes, so you’ll see some fantastic displays above.

The Deluxe Camping Pod is set in a prime riverside location. You can dine in your private picnic area, opposite your pod.

Camping

Our camping pitches, might not be as quirky as our glamping accommodation, but we think the location is pretty unique. Both the Ghyllside and Fellside camping areas offer stunning views over Windermere and the surrounding countryside.

From the elevated position you can admire the far-reaching views in every direction. We love nothing more than sitting out late into the evening and watch as the sun dips below the fells.
