Fun for all the family

With a fantastic adventure playground on-site at Park Cliffe you don’t even have to leave the park to enjoy the great outdoors and to allow your children to let off some steam.

We have a lovely wooden climbing frame which is ideal for older children, and a set of swings which are perfect for the younger ones! There’s also a team swing – so no excuse for the grown ups to not get involved, too!

Our adventure playground is just one of the excellent children’s facilities on-site at Park Cliffe!

Indoor Games Room

Our indoor games room ensures that even when the sunshine goes away, the fun doesn’t have to as well. Here, you’ll find table football, air hockey and a great selection of games machines to enjoy.

Restaurant and Bar

We have a pool table and variety of board games to enjoy alongside a bite to eat and a drink in our restaurant and bar!

Child friendly places to visit near Park Cliffe

• The local cinema in Bowness has three screens and shows the latest blockbuster movies.
• The World of Beatrix Potter in Bowness makes a fantastic day out for children aged 2-10.
• Windermere Lake Cruises makes for a fun and relaxing trip. You can also do watersports here!
• Fell Foot – a lakeshore park – is also a great place to spend a sunny day.
• Look out for a shop in Bowness that sells 36 flavours of ice cream!
• Zeffirellis is a brilliant place to spend an evening in Ambleside – enjoy movies in their cinema and live music too!
• Country pubs like the Mason Arms and The Brown Horse Inn make a lovely visit whatever the weather!

There are also many things to do with babies and toddlers in the Lake District.
