There are many places where you can launch a kayak on Coniston. Coniston Boat Centre is one of the most popular and convenient. It costs a couple of pounds to launch and there is parking on site (charges apply).
Monk Coniston Car Park (LA21 8AA) is another popular spot towards the North of the lake. The launch site is just 30m walk from the car park and there’s excellent facilities as well as space for trailers.
