Over the years Park Cliffe has earned an enviable reputation and is now considered one of the best dog friendly holiday parks in the Lake District. We’re pleased to welcome dogs to our 5-star holiday park and have a variety of dog friendly accommodation available to hire.

We know many dog owners choose a staycation over holidays abroad, that’s why we welcome well-behaved dogs to our award-winning holiday park in The Lakes.
There is a selection of dog friendly accommodation available to hire, including dog friendly static caravans and wooden camping pods. Our caravan holiday homes and glamping pods provide the perfect base from which enjoy leisurely walks or relax and unwind as the evening draws in. There is an extra charge to bring a dog to our static caravans. This is payable at the time of booking.
We now allow 1 small dog by prior arrangement in our self-catering cottage on the edge of the park. Our Lake District self-catering cottage is furnished to a high standard and is ideally located for exploring beauty spots nearb
In addition to having dedicated dog friendly self-catering accommodation, guests are free to bring dogs to stay on our camping, touring and motorhome pitches. We kindly remind visitors that dangerous breeds are not permitted and it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that their dog is kept under close control. Dogs must be kept on leads when walking around the park.
Dogs are welcome in the designated dog friendly area of our on-site bar and restaurant, ‘Canine Corner’. They’re also welcome on the terrace.
There are a number of dog water bowls located around the site for your convenience.

Dog friendly holidays don’t get much better than a Lake District getaway. The abundance of green open spaces provides endless walking opportunities and some of the most scenic views in the UK. Spend your days exploring the fells or walking along the shores of Lake Windermere. Your canine companion can run and play to their hearts content. They can even enjoy a paddle in the lake if they’re feeling brave!
A number of walks can be accessed from the park’s grounds. Some pass-through farmland, so please ensure your dog is on a lead if there is grazing cattle. There are also a selection of dog friendly pubs and restaurants nearby should you wish to dine out during your stay.
