May half term the perfect time of year to enjoy a family camping, glamping or caravan holiday in the Lake District.

Park Cliffe Camping and Caravan Park is set in an idyllic location overlooking Windermere. The weather is mild, The Lakes are carpeted with flowers and attractions are open – without the crowds of summer.

We have a range of children’s play facilities on-site, including an extensive adventure playground, and indoor facilities like air hockey, table football, table tennis and a selection of games machines.

You could also bring your own mountain bikes to explore the forest or simply enjoy a relaxing walk around the many woodland trails here.

Days out with Toddlers and Younger Children

For those with younger children, we recommend visiting Lakeland Maze Farm Park, which is also situated nice and close to Park Cliffe. Here, you can have fun exploring the Maize Maze and allow your children get up close with various farm animals, such as sheep, alpacas, donkeys, rabbits and goats. Some of which can be fed and handled in the petting zoo!
