Scenic segway tours

There are three tours available. The ‘Cartmel Tour’ takes groups on a scenic route through pretty parkland to the edge of the Holker Estate and Cartmel Racecourse. The ‘Adventure Tour’ is better suited to advanced riders and follows off road paths through the forest. The challenging terrain really puts your skills to the test! The ‘Combined Tour’ offers a combination of the two.

At Lakeland Segway the tour groups are kept small to ensure everyone receives the help and guidance they need to master riding a segway safely! It’s relatively easy once you’ve got the hang of it and tuition will be given along the route to ensure riders know how to properly navigate the track, when faced with a hill or turn in the road.

A segway tour is a fantastic activity to try during your holiday in the Lake District. It is well suited to groups of all ages – the only requirement is that participants fit the weight criteria for safety reasons.
