Established in 1948, Theatre by The Lake was originally a travelling touring theatre until 1961 when it settled in Keswick. Over the years, this theatre has gained a massive following and has a national reputation for showcasing and producing high-end theatre productions. These productions vary from a wide variety of genres, including musicals, comedies, and family-friendly shows.

Getting to Theatre By the Lake

Theatre By The Lake is a relatively easy drive from our Camping and Caravan park overlooking Windermere. The journey will roughly take fifty minutes as the theatre house is located on the other side of Cumbria. If you’re planning to visit Theatre By The Lake on your next holiday, we highly recommend spending a full day in the lovely market town of Keswick.
