At the children’s Chocolate Factory little ones can join in a chocolate workshop where they choose to make a shape of their choice such as cats, bears, trains, dinosaurs, cars, planes, bunnies and at Christmas snowmen, stars, Xmas Trees and even father Christmas!

They then create their own chocolate bar mixing milk and white chocolate decorating it with sweets and then have their own name piped in chocolate on the bar. Finally they make a marshmallow, chocolate and sweet creation of their own just in case they haven’t had enough chocolate they can have their faced painted and also squirts of it in their mouth!  Everything they make is theirs to take home in a bespoke gift  bag including their very own apron and hair net.

Workshops at the Children’s Chocolate Factory run 7 days a week from 10am on the hour to 3pm and 4pm in school holidays

Family activity

Family workshops take place everyday at 10am and in school holiday times. There is an extra session at 4pm where all the family can join the fun.

There’s also a retail shop with over 100 different varieties of loose chocolates and confectionery products that are unique. These are not available anywhere else locally or in larger retail outlets. Hawkshead Chocolate products are now available in many outlets throughout the Lake District.
