Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)

There are many places to go and enjoy the UK’s fastest-growing watersport, SUP! You can’t look past The Lake District’s largest lake, Windermere, where you can take your own board, or hire and book a lesson with many providers like Windermere Canoe Kayak, Lake District Paddleboarding, Stoked Watersports and Brockhole. It is worth noting that the waters are deep here and can get busy in the high season. For those just starting out their SUP journey, Brockholes or Fell Foot Park are ideal, shallow waters where you can gain confidence.

We also recommend that paddleboarders visit Ullswater, Coniston Water and Bassenthwaite Lake. You can hire boards from providers at each of these lakes!
